CHDM HTC®

CHDM, also known as 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol, is a colorless low-melting solid chemical with enhanced properties. It is one of the key materials used in the production of copolyester and PETG. It is suitable for a wide range of applications such as powder coatings in the automotive, electronic and medical industries. Huntington Chemical offers a specialty grade with high trans-cis ratio : CHDM HTC ™  .

Polycarbonate resin

Polycarbonate, also known as PC, is a type of thermoplastic, which is designed for enhanced strength, temperature resistance, and other mechanical properties. It is suitable for a wide variety of markets, including automotive and transportation, appliances, consumer, construction, electrical, healthcare and medical, cutting-edge electronics, and sporting goods. 

Polyphenylene sulfide(PPS)

Polyphenylene sulfide is a versatile material that gives extruded  and molded components the ability to meet exceptionally demanding  criteria. This semi-crystalline engineering thermoplastic has outstanding  thermal stability, superior toughness, inherent flame resistance, and  excellent chemical resistance. It also has high mechanical strength, impact resistance, and dimensional stability as well as good electrical properties. PPS has the ability to replace metal and thermosets in automotive market and demanding applications.

Polyimide (PI)

Polyimide belongs to the class of high-performance plastics. It exhibits an exceptional combination of thermal stability (>500°C), mechanical toughness, and chemical resistance. They have excellent dielectric properties and  inherently low coefficient of thermal expansion. Polyimide plates can be used as structural materials for aircraft parts, insulating materials for electronic devices, and mold release agents for composite materials. Available at different sizes and forms, such as sheet and rod.
